Benjamin Banneker Academy has conscientiously implemented the requirements found in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act by educating students, staff, and parents on harassment, intimidation and bullying.
Benjamin Banneker Academy has made progress in addressing and improving harassment, intimidation and bullying and the school climate and culture by having classroom presentations, school-based assemblies, parent workshops, and posting guidance newsletters.
While completing the self-assessment, we learned that our school demonstrated strengths in these areas: HIB Programs, Approaches or other Initiatives, HIB personnel and HIB Investigative Procedures.
